OATMEAL CRUSTED CHICKEN WITH LEMON SAUCE


Oatmeal-crusted chicken tenders are delightfully crunchy, and are sure to be a hit with adults and children alike. Serve with lemon sauce and pasta. This used to be my favourite lunch menu. Ever since I moved to Ipoh, I haven't tasted any until I made it recently. The original recipe calls for breadcrumbs but I swapped it with oatmeal since I need to finish out the stock before it expires.

This is a Chinese version of lemon sauce. I used garlic, ginger and chicken stocks .A lemony but not sweet sauce to accompany chicken breasts or fish fillets. Serve with rice or pasta.


Inilah menu favourite saya ketika bertugas di Penang. Lemon Chicken Chinese Style. Sedap makan dengan nasi, tapi kali ini saya masukkan pasta. Kepada yang suka masam-masam dan manis sedikit menu ini cukup sesuai. Resipi asal menggunakan breadcrumbs tapi saya gantikan dengan oats..banyak sangat oats dekat rumah takut expire nanti. Ayam digoreng cara ini memang ranggup dan sesuai dengan sos lemon ini.
